Integration describes parts coming together to make a whole.
It is both an approach to therapy and also a goal of therapy.

Integrative Psychotherapy

As an approach, Integrative psychotherapy’s flexibility allows me to tailor my approach to each individual based on what works for them. I draw on models of human development, psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment, interpersonal neurobiology, somatic therapy, relational-cultural therapy, systems theory, and mindfulness. I have had trainings in Eidetics, Hakomi, and Internal Family Systems.

As a goal, Integrative Psychotherapy encourages greater awareness and flow of information between different parts of you, whether that is between conscious and previously unconscious thought, body sensations and emotional or intellectual functions, or between different parts of yourself that are in conflict, leaving you feeling stuck.
